  • AISD Performing Arts Center
  • Bailey Middle School
  • Bedichek Middle School
  • Davis Elementary School
  • Juan P. Navarro High School
  • Langford Elementary School
  • O. Henry Middle School
  • Pleasant Hill Elementary School
  • Small Middle School
  • Zilker Elementary School

Election Day Voting locations are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Find a complete list and map of Election Day polling sites on the Travis County Clerk website.

As an added safety precaution for our campus communities on election day, the Austin ISD Board of Trustees approved an update to the 2020-21 calendar to include a student holiday on Nov 3, Election Day.

AISD campuses will not be used as polling sites during Early Voting, which runs from Oct. 13-30. To find your Early Voting polling site with current wait time information, visit the Travis County interactive map.

In addition to races at the national and state levels, four Austin ISD trustee seats are up for election: Districts 2, 3, 5 and at-large position 8. A full list of candidates can be found at the Board of Trustees election website.

Free Meals Extended Through June

The Texas Department of Agriculture recently announced an extension of current school meal programs through the 2020-21 school year. Through the federally-funded program, all children under the age of 19 will receive free school meals through June 3, the last day of school.

Austin ISD students participating in on-campus learning will receive free breakfast and lunch in the classroom or socially-distanced cafeteria.

Students participating in off-campus, remote learning will receive seven days worth of free meals at curbside sites located throughout Austin each Thursday. In addition to all students younger than 19, meals are also available to those older than 19 who are utilizing special education resources or currently enrolled in school to complete the requirements for a high school diploma.

Meals for children may be provided to parents or caregivers at curbside locations, even when the child is not present, as long as they provide documentation at the point of meal service.

While Austin ISD plans to continue curbside service as long as needed, meal sites are subject to change as more students transition to on-campus learning.

#MaskUp Austin ISD

This is a quick reminder that masks are required by all students, staff and visitors on campuses, buses and other district facilities. The mask should fit snugly over the nose and mouth except when eating or drinking.

Access Parent Self-Serve

As the school year progresses, it is important for families to know how to access student grades and other key information. Parent Self-Serve is the portal that allows parents to view their child's schedule, attendance, grades and more. In addition, parents can email teachers and set notification alerts if they want to receive emails when their child has been marked absent or has a missing assignment. To get started, visit my.austinisd.org. For more information, see our information sheets below in a variety of languages.

Austin Athletics - Get in the Game!
