Bring your best self and show up for a fun time! Mustangs will get connected with old and new friends, get ready for school and learn what it means to be an O. Henry Mustang. We are looking forward to meeting all of our incoming 6th grade Mustangs at the 2026 Mustang Transition Camp, our student orientation, on August 4th - 5th from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm.
O. Henry teachers and student ambassadors will provide helpful hints in the areas of organization, study skills and school expectations. Students will meet new friends through team building activities. A scavenger hunt will be offered to allow the students to learn their way around the campus. Come and learn the Mustang culture!
REGISTRATION NOTICE:
Camp will be limited to 150 students on a 1st come 1st served basis.
When: August 4th and 5th

Time: 8:30am - 12:30 pm
Bus pick up at 8:00 a.m. One bus will pick up Barton Hills and Zilker students.
Cost: $60 fee; Pay online at MySchoolCentral, https://ohenry.myschoolcentral.com or you may may send in a check for $60 to O. Henry Middle School at 2610 W. 10th Street, Austin TX 78703 and the memo line "Mustang Camp Tuition"
