About Principal Fillpot
Hello! I grew up in the charming town of Georgetown, Texas. It was a tiny town back then. After graduating from high school, I pursued my higher education at Texas Tech University for my undergraduate degree and then continued my studies at the University of Texas-Austin for my graduate degree. I am celebrating my 25th year working at O. Henry Middle School, where I initially taught science in room 504. I also spent seven years as an instructional coach, helping to guide and support my colleagues. I spent 8 years as assistant principal. I love the O. Henry community. Principal is a role that I find both challenging and rewarding.
Fun Facts
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Davin, for 29 years. Our daughter, Mia, is a sophomore at UT, and our son, Charlie, is an 9th grader. In my free time, I love to read historical fiction books and enjoy relaxing with my cat, Millie, and our dog, Louie.
