Girls Basketball Tryout Information
-You must have all forms completed and the physical uploaded to Rank One in order to try out for basketball. Rank One: https://www.austinisd.org/athletics/forms
7th grade tryouts will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13th and 14th
Tryouts will begin at 7:15 am and go through 1st per athletics. Drop off on Exposition!
There may be an additional tryout for girls who make the first cut on the 15th and 16th
Please wear athletic clothes and shoes with good traction. NO JEWELRY!
Practice Schedule-
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:15 am - 1st period athletics
- Thursday - practice only during 1st period, Game Day
Friday - practice only during 1st period

A/B Team Basketball Game Schedule
“A” team tournament/playoff schedule - 12/10 and 12/16 “B” team does not have playoffs.
C Team - Coach Ethan Pappas - ethan.pappas@austinisd.org ; C team will be a combination of 7th and 8th grade athletes: Girls C team basketball will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 7AM in the gym. Our first practice is 10/20.

Interested players must:
- Have a CURRENT AISD physical (dated after April 15th, 2026)
- Complete all Rank One UIL Online Forms
- Attend all tryout sessions
- Be dressed and on the court @ scheduled start time
- Dress in athletic wear (basketball shoes recommended)
- Bring school clothes, towel, and toiletries

- Athletic wear and basketball shoes
- Water bottle
- A positive attitude and team spirit!
Special Note: "A" team volleyball will begin tryouts once playoffs are over.
