O.Henry 7th & 8th Grade Mustang Band Camp
August 5 - 9 (Mon – Fri)
All O.Henry incoming and returning 7th/8th graders are invited to attend the Mustang Summer Band Camp. Summer Band is open to all 7th and 8th grade students with at least one year of playing experience. There is no registration required. Just show up on the first day! If you have a conflict due to other planned summer obligations, and cannot attend all 5 days, just contact Mr. Pinkney at sedric.pinkney@austinisd.org.
Students who attend summer band will be part of the O.Henry Pep Band. Members of the Pep Band get to perform at pep rallies, O.Henry football games, Round-Up, and Casis Carnival Summer Band is also great opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new friends, and improve your playing skills while playing some fun pep music. Sheet music will be distributed the first day of camp. Band camp will take place from August 5 to 9 (Monday – Friday) from 1:30 – 4:00 PM in the O.Henry Band Hall.
Fee: $10 Donation to cover snacks and drinks
