Cheer Team takes 1st Place in Houston!

The O.Henry Competition Cheerleaders won 1st place at the UCA Houston Regional on Sunday!  Our division had five teams competing (two of which beat us last year at this Regional).  O.Henry won handily!  We scored a 79.4 while 2nd place earned a 70, and third place was far behind at 59.4.  Their score was the highest any O.Henry team has scored at Regionals since we began competing five years ago.

 

Their score alao qualified them to go back to Nationals in February!  During the results, they were crying tears of joy when they realized they had won!

 

Please congratulate these girls!  Both the Competition Team and the Spirit Team will be competing at the UCA Southwest Regional on November 17. This next competition will be at the Austin Convention Center, so the teams would love your support!
