2019 O. Henry Middle School College and Career Day

O. Henry Middle School is hosting the 11th Annual College & Career Day on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 8:00am -11:45am. All of the 6th and 8th grade students will participate in the event during their Language Arts class. We would like to invite you to participate in a booth at our school, representing your college or career as a potential choice to our students.
The largest crowd at one time will be around 125 students. To help engage students with potential colleges and careers, they will create an interactive card ahead of time in their Language Arts class that will be completed at the event. This card will help guide them toward questions they may ask you about your college or career. Questions are prepared ahead of time and there will not be any preparation demands on your end. You will be interacting with individual students, and will not be asked to present to a large group. We will provide a table for your booth unless you have one of your own that you like to use. If there is anything that you might need, such as a power strip or copies, please indicate so on the form below. It is not required that you bring anything but yourself, but students do enjoy seeing tangible things that represent your college or career. Our students really benefit from meeting and learning from our members of our community! Also, if you have any colleagues, friends or family members that may be willing to participate, please forward this link to them.
